I write content and develop content strategies for overworked content marketers.
So you can stop stressing that you don’t have enough hours in the day, and can actually get out of the office while there’s daylight, without having to log back on at night.
The end result? You can go to the gym, grab an ice cream, or catch up on The Crown, all knowing you won’t have 200 unread emails and to-dos in your inbox in the morning.
Ok, ok, ok, although I really do consider it my mission to help you with your content strategy, because you shouldn’t have to work every night, weekend, and early morning, here’s a little more about me.
One of my earliest memories is going out for dinner with my family as an eight-year-old (I think it was East Side Mario’s, on spin-the-wheel-birthday night) and writing down a short story I had come up with on the restaurant’s napkins.
I threw the napkin out, but that was the first time of many I reached for anything – a paper, a receipt, the back of a cereal box, eventually I graduated to notebooks (thanks, Indigo, for fueling that new obsession) – to record the words and stories I kept in my head.
Ironically, although I loved to read, I never seriously contemplated being a writer. Yet, I kinda always wished I could do it full-time – so much so that my grade eight yearbook says my ambition is to be a “writer or lawyer” (the “or lawyer” was added because I didn’t want to bank on the writing thing panning out).
Years later, when I graduated McGill University, being a writer, again, didn’t cross my mind. But luck was in my favor, because a little thing called content marketing was making headlines and I wanted in. I learned what a content marketer does, and how she does it, and started building out my experience. Over the years, I’ve figured out how to write words that people want to read (thanks for sticking with me so far), words that drive true ROI for the business.
Now, I’m known for finding solutions to complex problems; having enthusiastic passion; ensuring that passion helps advance the projects I work on and not hinder it; and for caring deeply about the people who I work with and the work that I do.
And now, I’m here to help you. Who are you? Well, I’m glad you asked…
